Plymouth's Rock Elm Tavern has acquired vacant space next door as way to accommodate "experiential dining." The restaurant added three sports simulators in a space it calls “The Clubhouse.” The owners say the expansion underscores the importance of restaurants needing to evolve after the pandemic. “You start to look around at what people are doing, pickleball and food, and throwing axes and food, and really I think the experiential dining is something that has some merit and I think it's going to continue,” said Troy Reding, owner of Rock Elm Tavern.
