6-9pm at Bodmaxx, 81b Fore St.

Just bring yourself, (and perhaps a friend), and a notebook.
This video is a call out to you if you would like to join the Organising Group (O.G) for the Bodmin Halloween Parade 2022, which will take place on Saturday 29th October. The point being to establish a large group that can make the parade happen year on year. You would come to 4 work session of a few hours, with food provided afterward, and learn the basics of event production and the skills and steps needed to put on a public community event.
The dates and contents of the meetings are as follows:
Weds 28th Sept 6-9pm
Event planning 101: where do I start?
Creative, planning, understanding your event
Thursday 6th October 6-9pm
Event production 101: what do I need and where do I get it? Budget, tech, performers,
Weds 19th October 6-9pm
Event Management 101: Working with people.
Safety, legalities and liabilities, respect, rehearsal process, keeping things on track
Friday 28th October (time tbc)
Bringing it all together
Getting ready to put on the show, Dress rehearsal, troubleshooting.
