In this video on Mathematical Economics we solve a numerical on finding Price Charged by a Monopolist when he discriminates and when he doesn't from the two market demand Functions and same total cost function
Firstly we we find the Total revenue for each market
Take derivative of TR in each market To get Marginal Revenue
From Total Cost draw Marginal Cost by taking Derivative with respect to Quantity
Equate MR =MC in each market to to get Equilibrium Price
Under Non Discrimination
Price will be same
and Two Demand functions are joined
to To get Total revenue
