EUROVELO 5 THRU THE HEART OF ALSACE FRANCE - BICYCLE TOURING HOLLAND TO ITALY
In the summer of 2019 I rode my bike from Maastricht in the Netherlands to Lago di Orta in Northern Italy.
This video covers day 5 of the trip. I follow the Eurovelo 5 route thru the heart of the Alsace region in France from Obernai to Heimbrunn.
This part of the EV5 coincides for a big part with the Alsace wine route (route du vin). You're riding thru vinyards and stunning winevillages like Obernai, Turckheim and Barr all day long.
The Tour de France passed thru the same region the next day, all the wine villages were already all dressed up in yellow !
Really enjoyed this day of cycling !
