Vivek Agnihotri is ready with his new offering 'The Vaccine War'. Like his last release 'The Kashmir Files', the filmmaker claims this one is also based on a true story. According to him, 'The Vaccine War' is based on the true story of Indian scientists, who fought against COVID-19 and shows their struggle in developing an affordable vaccine for India and the world. The film will hit the theaters on September 28, but the recently released trailer has already created a lot of buzz on social media. While enjoying the reactions to his film's trailer, Vivek Agnihotri opened up on the reason behind casting his wife Pallavi Joshi in his films. While talking to Republic World, Vivek said, 'I don't cast mediocre actors. I cast National Award winning actors. Pallavi is a great actress and that is why she finds a place in my film. Moreover, she is a senior to me in the industry . She brings dimensions and dynamics to the character which my writing does not provide. She is smart and intelligent and it is always fun to work with intelligent actors.'
