Описание: Britain and America—two nations divided by a common language—are often united by the names that dot their maps (note: this doesn’t extend to “Albuquerque”, “Pensacola” or “Slough”). In past videos, I’ve looked at U.S. cities that took their cues from Britain, but today we’re going to flip things around. Because believe it or not—despite the events of 1776—there are rare instances of British places that were verifiably named after American states and cities. I know—mental!
