The National Unity Platform (NUP) has urged its candidates and supporters dissatisfied with the outcome of the recent elections to seek legal redress through the courts, describing this as the lawful path to reclaim what they believe is their victory.
Like other opposition parties, NUP has rejected the presidential election results announced by the Electoral Commission, which declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni winner over NUP flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
