These ube bars are soft and moist bread lightly dipped into ube syrup and coated in desiccated coconut. It's a Filipino favorite snack that we can buy at the bakery. Simple and Easy to make at home.
Ingredients:
DOUGH:
1/2 cup fresh milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup ube jam
UBE SYRUP:
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp ube flavoring
Desiccated Coconut for coating
