Detailed History of Marajo Island: Timeline (12000BCE-2022CE) HD

Описание: Precolonial and Postcolonial history of Ananatuba, Mangueiras, Formiga, Marajoara, Aruan, Hispanic, Portuguese, and Brazilian settlements in the island

This took me a surprisingly long time to make. But I would love to make more videos about the Amazon.

NOTE:
Pre-colonial dates are all based on carbon-14 and are to be taken with a grain of salt
Chiefdom divisions of Marajoara never had strict border divisions (I drew them like countries for artistic purposes), and borders were much more fluid and blurred, also the names I put on the maps reflect the archeological site rather than their real name
There were probably more chiefdoms as well, but those are the ones known
A lot of the sources I used for Aruan period were very old and often had contradictions, I did my best, given what's available
