2 cups / 250 g all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups / 200 g bread flour
⅔ cup / 160 ml warm water
⅓ cup / 80 ml milk
1 tbsp dry yeast
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
⅓ cup / 65 g sugar
1 ½ tsp salt
4 tbsp / 60 g butter, cubed
About 7 cups / 1.5 L oil for frying (vegetable, peanut, sunflower, safflower…)
Strawberry, raspberry or grape jelly or jam, for filling
Icing sugar, for dusting (optional really)
