While I wait on parts for the Les Paul DC, im getting to work on this idea I've had for some time.

In this video I go through the process of making both the body and neck templates for this new build. I have decided to change the channel name to Mosal Guitars - the new brand of what I'm building. Back to the templates, the neck is based on a Stratocaster type neck with a variation on the headstock design. The body is somewhat of a mix of things, a single cut offset body with Les Paul type bridge and tail piece. With semi-hollow construction for a little weight relief, balance and for the beautiful f-hole to be displayed.

The body will be made primarily of English Ash, with a Spalted Ripple Maple top, the neck will be made from a re-claimed chunk of flame maple which was previously used as a door jam on some industrial fire doors in a commercial facility. Topped off with a figured Ebony fretboard, fully bound and with Mother of Pearl block inlays.
