In this session, I'm creating colorful organic shapes with palette knife and acrylic paint on Bristol paper. These painted elements will become part of the Emergence Series pattern designs for 2026 housewares and tableware. I'm using a modified Zorn palette with yellow ochre, titanium buff, Payne's gray, quinacridone magenta, and lime green, mixing colors directly on the knife to get beautiful striations and organic color variations. Watch as the paint creates its own magic when you let it be what it wants to be instead of overworking it.
This is art outside the velvet rope. Not instruction, not self-care—just marks made from connection to The Creation's wild energy. You're either drawn to this or you're not.
I'm not on social media. The newsletter is the only place to see more and find out when new work is available.
