The Star of Hope Association marked its 15th Iftar Al-Saim Programme with a special visit to WAMY Children’s Home in Isiolo County, bringing joy to 200 children at the orphanage. This was SOHA’s second visit to the home this Ramadan, following a request from the management for the organization to return with additional food for the children. Through the leadership of CEO Qari Abdulrazzaq, the SOHA team responded positively, ensuring the young residents could break their fast with dignity and happiness.
The initiative was made possible through the generous support of Cinarlar Grup from Ankara, Türkiye, whose contribution continues to support Ramadan feeding programmes across the region. Feeding those who are fasting and caring for orphans carries immense blessings in Islam, reflecting the true spirit of compassion and generosity during the holy month.
The programme also forms part of SOHA’s broader Ramadan outreach across Isiolo County, where the organization has successfully conducted 15 Iftar Al-Saim programmes in various masjids and institutions, demonstrating its continued commitment to serving vulnerable communities.
