Stunning colors, boats and square houses are floating with an impressive backdrop of dynamic high mountains, apparently there are 1970 Limestone Karsts that make this area a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE!!
Some families live in their actual fishing boats, many others live on simple rafts made of mostly wood that float on platforms similar to pontoon boats. The houses are small, generally only one or two bedrooms. The fisherman go out to sea in their fishing boats, and leave their families behind on these wooden house rafts. Squid fishing at night and clam and mussel farming by day. The boats used for squid fishing are outfitted with large halogen lights used to attract the squids at night. I didn't know at first and thought they are partying so hard. There are streets and house numbers and shops and restaurants here, floating for more than 200 years! The houses even have cats and dogs, I loved this place so much that I hired the boatsman one more time to film it again!
