On February 21st, 2026, I lined up at Wyandotte County Lake for the Psycho Wyco Run Toto Run trail race. If you’ve ever run out there, you know it’s not your typical “Kansas is flat” kind of course. Rocks, roots, constant rollers, and depending on the weather… plenty of mud.
This video is a look at my day out on the course — some trail footage, a few in-race updates, and real-time thoughts as the miles added up. The conditions definitely kept things interesting, but that’s part of what makes this race such a classic in the Midwest trail scene.
Psycho Wyco is always a tough, honest course and a great early-season test. Grateful to be out there competing and pushing through it.
