Stock footage from a December 2023 trip to Chuuk, Micronesia to dive the iconic World War II shipwrecks of Truk Lagoon. In this video, we explore the converted liner HEIAN MARU. Resting on her side in shallow water, the contents of this wreck reveal her wartime role as a submarine tender. Torpedoes and periscopes abound. The HEIAN MARU also has one of the best engine room to explore within the lagoon!
