Flip and Lip - An Acrylic Fluid Art Technique You Should Try!

Описание: Looking for an easy acrylic fluid art technique to try? This is the classic dirty pour flip cup, but I will be dragging the lip of the cup through the paint. What otherwise could have been a boring painting, flowing lines of paint are created resulting in a more dynamic artwork without the use of silicone.

PAINT MIXTURES

I'm using Artist's Loft Soft Body Acrylic Paint for this video.

White: about 2 parts paint, 1 part water
All colors: about 2 parts paints, 1 part Floetrol, 1 part water.

If any paint mixture is too thick and doesn't flow well, keep adding a bit more water and mixing.

SUPPLIES USED

Soft Body Acrylic Paint by Artist's Loft, 9x12" stretched canvas, palette knife, heat gun, painter's pyramid stands, 9 oz plastic cup, silicone mat.
