Brass for Joe - Upcoming Album

Описание: Four years ago today, we tragically lost my brother Joe. But thanks to incredible people, we celebrate his life with music today.

"Brass for Joe" was composed and recorded in Joe's memory, and will comprise the title track of an album to be released next year. Proceeds of the album will help fund the Officer Joe Burson Scholarship. Presales start in October, with limited edition vinyl press available in 2026.

We recorded "Brass for Joe" last month, a project that couldn't have happened without LA Philharmonic Principal Trumpet Tom Hooten, who encouraged me to create music in Joe's memory. Tom joined us in Georgia for the recording session, and I'm beyond grateful for everything he contributed to this. Tom has been a teacher and mentor for nearly twenty years. His world-class musicianship also represents the kind of person he is.
