As I mention at the very beginning of this video, I'm doing this at Banggood.com's request. They want to see what problems I'm having. I think it's one of those cases where a picture ( or video in this case ) is better than a 1000 words. Also...you'll here me say Gyro a few times when I really mean Servo. The Instruction sheet says it's CCPM 120 degree and when I read that, I took that as to the swash plate set up. But I was wrong. It was the H1 which is like all servo's act as one.....or something like that.
My biggest complaint is how poorly they have written their instructions. I knew there was going to be a fair amount of Chinglish but I didn't think it would be so bad that it might cause me to do something wrong and in the process make the aircraft inoperable. But that is what I think has happened. Because if it is not, then I probably should get my money back as you would never be able to calibrate the gyro and believe me, eventually you will need to calibrate the Gyro.
But other than this issue I really like the Heli. But if it will not arm the motor, it won't fly and if it won't fly it's useless. And it's less than two weeks old. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd really like to know. It was flying just fine in 3D mode. But in 6G I had to pull back 100% on the elevator to keep it hovering. That was why I did the hovering calibration as well as the Calibrating the Gyro.
I appreciate the fact that Banggood.com is trying to understand my issue. Too bad they don't have offices in the US and maybe some US employees. They say they have a US Warehouse, but I think they may be misleading us. The tracking number they gave me said it shipped out of Compton, CA on a Tuesday. It was holiday weekend so I was willing to give it until Tuesday the next week to arrive. I'm in Colorado, so it's only a couple of states away. But it wasn't there on Wednesday so I emailed Banggood and they said DHL showed it arriving in Denver That evening. DHL is an Intl delivery service. Why was DHL involved? And even though their shipping info said the Tracking number was for UPS it was actually for the USPS. And that was who DHL handed the package off to. So if you ask me, I think it actually came from Chinia and Banggood may be manipulating the system to make it look like it shipped from California. Oh well...that is my conspiracy theory anyway.
