Azure Virtual Network (VNet) is the core networking service in Microsoft Azure that allows you to securely connect Azure resources such as virtual machines, databases, and application services. It provides isolation, control, and flexibility similar to a traditional on-premises network.
A VNet enables you to define IP address ranges, create subnets, and control traffic using Network Security Groups (NSGs) and route tables. Resources within the same VNet can communicate privately, while external access can be managed through gateways, firewalls, and load balancers.
