One of Brazil its most talented DJ/producers is JAKKO. Over the past two years Lucas Bojakowski developed himself as one of the leading South-American DJ’s. We were quite pleased when he sent over “Unido”. Chief Marcus Schössow didn’t need to think twice about signing this track or not. Since then JAKKO his anthem “Unido” has been a secret ID in all of mister Code Red his sets.

“Unido” already got described as an old school Axwell track. We consider that as a big compliment. JAKKO created a euphoric and powerful piano melody for his anthem. The subtle percussion, perfectly balanced bassline and kick are keeping “Unido” groovy. With such a big tune it is easy to fall back on the standard progressive house format, but JAKKO didn’t want that. Therefore “Unido” sounds crisp, fresh, euphoric and groovy.

JAKKO made a name for himself the past two years with releases on Protocol Recordings, Staar Traxx, Revealed and Armada Trice. Code Red fits perfectly in that list, especially because the Brazilian talent loves groovy progressive house. And then again, we all know Brazilians have a great sense for rhythm. That is no different with JAKKO.
