Kerala Gold Smuggling Case: Attaché at UAE Consulate threatens custom official over baggage checking

Описание: The Kerala gold smuggling case is moving very quickly with developments coming in every few hours. The attaché at UAE consulate has threatened the custom officials over diplomatic baggage check.

The attaché Rashid allegedly threatened that if his bags were examined then the diplomatic baggage delivered to Indian diplomats in UAE will also be checked there onward.

The attaché has directly or indirectly hinted at his involvement in the entire gold smuggling racket along with Swapna and Suresh. The consignment arrived at Trivandrum airport on July 3rd and the attaché went along with the prime accused of this case.

By the looks of it, the attaché seems to have more information and could be investigated by the NIA.
