The first village in my ranking is Tando Soomro. This is the most unique village of Sindh. In the province where there is hardly good news, this village provides a model from which the Sindh Government must learn lessons from. The population of the village is about 8000 people.

There is a common perception of any village in Pakistan that it consists of mud houses, narrow streets, and no drainage system. But this village is quite different from other villages in Pakistan. The locals, themselves look after their village.

The second village in my ranking is Rasoolpur village of Rajanpur district. This village is not only an example for the people of Pakistan but also for the world. This village is like other traditional villages of Pakistan but the people of this area set some rules regarding governance and education due to which this village has got a prominent place in Pakistan. The ratio of education is 100% in this village.

The third one is Dureji village from Balochistan. Dureji village is an example of how government funds can be utilized in the best way. Here you will find an excellent governance model.

In a province like Balochistan where water is rare, Dureji consists of more than 50 dams. The parks consist of waterfalls and fountains. Electricity is available here for 24 hours. Now a bank is also been opened here.

The fourth village is Alkhair Model Village from Punjab. I have observed while traveling to these areas that the people of wasaib after facing so many problems still stand strong. This village is constructed on an area of 42 acres. The population of this village is almost 3000 people.

The foundation of this village was laid by famous Naat orator Junaid Jamshed Late.
