On this episode of #CrackYourBible, we’re talking about lukewarm Christians who are the first to try to handicap Christians who are out preaching the gospel. Rather than preach the full counsel of God, these fake brothers teach a twisted gospel of “do what thou wilt” disguised as love. God is a God of love, but He’s also a God of justice and righteousness. If we don’t warn people, their blood is on our hands. Too many “Christians” today are like those at Laodicea - they don’t have the hot water of Hierapolis and lack the cold water of Colossae.

✝️ From the Bible we know that:
-Fake religious people love to be seen by others. Matthew 3:5-7, Luke 16:15
-Paul did not shrink from declaring the whole counsel of God. Acts 20:26-31
-I Am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. Jeremiah 9:23-26
-We’re to be Holy because God is Holy. Leviticus 19:2, 1 Peter 1:14-16
-We’re to pray for our leaders and kings so that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life. 1 Timothy 2:!-2
-Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. Ecclesiastes 8:10-13
-We are to warn the wicked or we are to be held accountable for their lives. Ezekiel 3:17-19
-It will be more tolerable for Sodom than it will be for the cities who rejected Jesus. Matthew 11:20-24
-We’re to seek the approval of God, not man. Galatians 1:6-10
-We’re not to be hearers of the Word only, but a doer of the Word. James 1:22-25
-The church at Laodicea trusted in their own works and wealth for salvation. Revelation 3:17-20
-Jesus said that they are neither cold nor hot, but because they’re lukewarm, he will vomit them out of His mouth. Revelation 3:15-16
-The Word of God is healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. Proverbs 3:5-8
-False brothers will exploit you in their greed. 2 Peter 2:1-3
-Jesus has a two-edged sword coming from His mouth. Revelation 1:14-18
