The DiveCarib instructor team have over 40 years of combined experience in the dive industry, and they offer the most organised and enjoyable diving experience on the island. We cater to every experience level, from beginners looking to dive for the very first time all the way up to seasoned, certified divers looking for well-guided dive trips. PADI courses, tec diving, and yacht services are also available here at DiveCarib.

DiveCarib is based in the grounds of the National Sailing Academy, which is situated in Falmouth Harbour, English Harbour Town, in the south of Antigua.
We chose this location as our base due to the fact that the vast majority of dive sites in Antigua are a short boat ride from here.

We have spectacular dive sites. In general, our Caribbean dive sites are characterised by soft and hard coral reefs, where we often see nurse sharks (Ginglymostoma cirratum), enormous spiny lobsters (Panulirus argus), and a multitude of reef fishes. Our Atlantic dive sites are characterised by massive boulders and rock pinnacles, which have become magnificent reefs in their own right, home to Caribbean reef sharks (Carcharhinus perezii), spotted eagle rays (Aetobatus narinari), and green (Chelonia mydas) and hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata) turtles. Water clarity is often in excess of 100ft (30m).

We maintain our own permanent moorings on the dive sites, and only anchor the boat in an emergency. Currently we have half of the dive sites moored, and the other half we use as drift dive sites.

Most of our dive sites are suitable for divers of all experience levels, although we do have sites that are more challenging from a depth and exposure point of view, whereby we do require advanced certification and specifically Deep Diver specialty for the wreck of the Montserrat.

Green Fins is an initiative that protects and conserves coral reefs through environmental guidelines that promote a sustainable diving and snorkelling industry.

We are helping the National Parks Authority implement a coral nursery programme. Their Marine Ecologist Ruleo Camacho is looking at coral restoration as a tool to increase the resilience of the coral reef ecosystem within the Nelson Dockyard National Park.
