New French Extremity

Описание: Like the horror genre, extreme cinema is expansive, with many diverse subgenres ranging from splatter, drugsploitation, and fetish gore, all from around the world. Each subgenre gives us that transgressive cinematic experience we tend to crave. This discussion will be focused on one of my favorites, NEW FRENCH EXTREMITY. Less of a subgenre but more of a decade that produced wonderfully macabre movies and spanned from the late 90s to 2010s. We are here to talk about two of my favorites: FRONTIERS (2007) and BAISE MOI (2000).
