The $30-something dollar Samson Go Mic; while it won't go on to win any beauty competitions, it's a lot better than most people think, or give it credit for. As with most tech and gear, it's only as good as the person using it, so with practice and good microphone technique, the Samson Go Mic can end up sounding pretty awesome.
I'm also pretty impressed with the $13 Pyle PDMIC78, which sounds as good as, if not better than a lot of so called 'studio condenser microphones' on Amazon.
