Описание: The British Quilt Study Group (BQSG) is one of five special interest groups open to Quilters’ Guild members to join. BQSG member Debs McGuire begins by explaining how the group began. BQSG’s activities and research focus upon British historic and contemporary quilts, looking at patchwork and quilting techniques used in the past as well as modern quilting trends. Debs dispels the misconception that the group is only for experts. BQSG will appeal to anyone who loves to learn about quiltmakers and their lives. So, if you are fascinated to hear the stories of how and why quilts were made in their particular historical context, BQSG could be for you.
