1981 Topps Basketball — Repack City?!
Today I’m opening two vintage 1981 Topps Basketball packs — 13 cards per pack, plus the original gum — and seeing what’s really inside.
I’ll be honest right up front: something feels off.
Between duplicates, collation, and overall pack composition, these packs raise some real questions about whether they may have been repacked… or if this is just classic bad luck with early-’80s Topps.
This isn’t an accusation and I’m not calling out any seller — just a collector opening vintage packs, card by card, and sharing what I see in real time.
