We're back from Peru and a bucket-list journey to Machu Picchu. With hours of video to sort through, edit and post, we wanted to start with a trip to Manos de la Comunidad, which is a local textile company in Cusco.
They raise their own Llama's and Alpaca for the wool and then sell high quality sweaters, blankets, gloves, scarfs and other items made of alpaca and baby alpaca. BUT, when visiting the site, you can get up close and personal with the Alpaca and Llama's, feeding them for free.
This is really fun and a must do in Cusco because this may be the closest you get to actual Alpaca's and interact with them.
