In this week’s episode of Tying Tuesdays, watch as Brady ties The France Fly! "We enjoy our Euro bugs here at AvidMax. The France Fly is no exception. It is a killer little simple jig-style fly that can work wonders on the river. This fly is very easily adapted in both size and color. The example tied in the video is a lightweight version when speaking about Euro or Tightline nymphing style flies as it is a true-to-size bead without any additional weight. This makes it a great option in slower water when there isn’t as much current resistance preventing it from getting into the right zone. Don’t be afraid to oversize your bead or add extra wire behind the bead for more of a bullet-style bug. Fish this bad boy sub-surface in any method you choose, and you will find some fish for sure!"
