Test-Taking Strategy
No penalty for wrong answers - always guess if unsure! Questions alternate between difficult and easy to prevent discouragement. Key tips: listen carefully to read-aloud questions, examine all answer choices, eliminate obviously wrong answers, practice bubble filling.

Scoring System
School Ability Index (SAI) combines verbal and nonverbal scores. Age-Based Percentile Rankings compare against same-age peers (0-100%). Also provides grade-based percentile rankings and separate verbal/non-verbal subtest scores.

Geographic Usage
Used across the US with highest concentration in metropolitan areas. Very common in California's GATE programs, NYC gifted programs, and many northeast/southeast metropolitan areas.
