Set amongst the Acacia trees, our charming cottages are constructed in the traditional thatched-roof style by local artisans. The craft of thatch roofing has been passed down through the generations and is practical as well as beautiful; straw and grass are artfully layered, creating natural insulation, so that the cottages remain comfortably cool in summer and warm in winter. This ancient craft is at risk of disappearing in India, like many traditional trades.

Hiking trails, accessible a short walk from the property, take you into the Aravalli Hills, India’s oldest mountain range with a diverse deciduous forest. The Aravalli craggy peaks makes it ideal for hiking.

Camp Land’s End is dedicated to sustainability. We endeavor to operate the hotel free of single-use plastics. The camp has its own water purification system, eliminating the need for plastic water bottles however bottled water is available on request. We are mindful of efficient water use in our desert climate and use hot water tanks for the showers. Local materials are used wherever possible, so your stay with us supports the surrounding community.
