PS3 - Unboxing in 2024 (Game preservation film)

Описание: Once upon a time the norm was for consoles to be backwards compatible in some sort of way, either via virtual console, being capable of playing the old games due to the systems being similar and or having the same form factor physical media or at least some sort of effort like Microsoft’s approach to backwards compatibility in recent times (Which due to recent events I don’t know if its appropriate to think Microsoft cares about game preservation)

Sony approach is to remaster games and sell them at full price rather than offer a way to play our old physical media which is disappointing to say the least, yes the ps5 does offer full ps4 backwards compatibility, remasters of ps2/psp/ps3 era games and the classic collection on PS Plus (which is very sad to say. It’s underwhelming and even more with the price increase in ps plus but not the increase in content in the service)

With this short film about me unboxing a CECHA00 Backwards Compatible PS3 60GB Japanese Model it’s for the love of old stuff and preserving the physical mediums to platy games we wouldn’t be able otherwise (Unless you know you emulate your legally dumped games :^) wink wink)
