Cumbria Woodlands has partnered with United Utilities and The Lake District Foundation to conduct restoration work on the PAWS (plantations on ancient woodland sites) around the Thirlmere Valley.
The project will continue the ongoing restoration work and provide a full-time role for Bryce, the graduate forester. The future of the woodlands in the area are being secured by investing in both the forests and the foresters of the future.
