"There is a particular style of piano playing that is required for the luxury cruise liners of today, or the marble-floored lobbies of the grand hotels, and Jon Gooch certainly has that particularly magical style. This style has taken Jon to many corners of the globe.

The grand hotels are his stage: from the London Hilton to the Hyde Park and the Knightsbridge Sheraton Tower.

Jon has been the resident pianist on the QE2 World Cruise. He has also performed numerous times on Saga cruise liners taking him to the Mediterranean, Baltic, and the Caribbean. But perhaps his favourite location is the Cote d'Azur along the French Riviera each season.

Jon was the pianist behind the BBC Radio live "At Your Request" special New Year's Day broadcast and continues to perform on the BBC on a weekly basis and appears regularly on ITV."
