The right concession stand equipment depends entirely on your concept and your events. Every vendor needs commercial refrigeration, food-safe prep surfaces, a handwashing station, and a reliable POS system that takes cards. Beyond that, your cooking equipment is concept-specific — fryers for fried food, smokers for BBQ, juicers for lemonade. Buy used for refrigeration, prep tables, and generators. Buy new for POS systems and anything with electrical components you cannot inspect. The biggest equipment mistake new concession operators make is over-buying before they have proven their concept at a real event — start with the minimum viable setup and upgrade from revenue.
