The report, "Abortion Needs and Availability in New Jersey: 2025 Update", finds that abortion care in the state has increased by 25% since 2020, driven in part by expanded telehealth services and medication abortion. The research also highlights ongoing disparities in access across New Jersey's regions.
The study was conducted by researchers at the Rutgers School of Public Health in partnership with the New Jersey Family Planning League.
