Machining a Blade with ISCAR's Barrel and Lens Type Tools Compared to Ballnose and Endmill Type Tools
For this demonstration and for improved cutting strategy, MQL was applied.
When machining Titanium, cutting fluid is highly recommended. Cutting conditions for the Barrel and Lens type tools may be increased to maximum 120 m/min (394 sfm) if coolant is used.
