In March 2020 - the whole world went into lockdown for the first time.

The clubs shut - the raves stopped, and the live music arena came to a saddening halt.

Here at Toolroom, we wanted to use the creative opportunity that lockdown provided, by doing something a little different, exciting and altruistic for COVID-19 related causes.

It was the perfect time to revive the T1 album concept - a fully collaborative compilation with our Toolroom Family of artists (with a twist).

So we did something we’ve never done before. We put 36 artists names into a hat and picked 18 collaborations at random. No cheating, no rigging!

And this activity culminated in T2 - the next in the Toolroom collaborative series.

To celebrate the months of ZOOM calls and remote production sessions it seems only fitting that we host our first digital event. We proudly present: T2 Virtual Festival.
