Somewhere in North Africa, Noje was released; he told his handler that he didn’t want to go back to Nigeria as nothing awaits him. He was then taken to meet other people like him.
Stranded in the desert, Itohan and the other girls sat round a fire and shared their life experiences and reasons why they must make it to Europe.
Itohan revealed that she had taken a love oath with her boyfriend before leaving Nigeria. Onome accused her of betraying her boyfriend and a fight ensued between them. Rakia who has been in pain as a result of the scorpion sting wriggled in pain. While the girls remained carried away by the ongoing fight, the pain became unbearable for Rakia and she died.
Dosu who hadn’t been with the girls walked in on Itohan and Onome fighting. He inquired what was going on with Rakia and was shocked when he realised she had passed on. He told the girls they would be in Spain the next day and wished them luck as he wouldn’t be continuing the journey with them,
