Heavy Rain Causes Delays on Nagdhunga–Kalanki Road During Dashain

On the Dashain 2025 4th Day, the Nagdhunga–Kalanki road section, one of the main entry and exit routes to Kathmandu Valley, is witnessing heavy traffic congestion and delays due to continuous rainfall and festive travel rush. Thousands of passengers are either returning home after receiving Tika and Jamara or traveling back to the capital. Despite challenging weather conditions and road blockages in nearby regions, authorities have deployed traffic police and rescue teams to manage movement and ensure safety. The Nagdhunga–Kalanki section remains a critical route during Dashain, reflecting both festive mobility and monsoon-related challenges across Nepal.
