In today’s video, I will show you how to make Aaloo Paratha step by step. This soft and delicious paratha is perfect for breakfast or anytime meal. Simple ingredients, easy method, and full of amazing flavor!
📝 Ingredients
For Dough:
• 1/2 cup aata (wheat flour)• 1 tbsp oil• 1/2 tsp salt• 1/2 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)• Water as needed (for soft dough)
For Filling:
• 4 boiled potatoes• 1 onion (finely chopped)• 1 garlic clove (chopped)• Little ginger (chopped)• 2 green chillies (chopped)• Handful of coriander leaves• 1/2 tbsp ghee• 1/2 tsp salt• 1/4 tsp turmeric powder• 1/2 tsp coriander powder• 1/4 tsp cumin powder• 1/2 tsp garam masala• 1/4 tsp chili powder• 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
👩🍳 Method
1️⃣ In a bowl, add aata, oil, salt, and ajwain. Add water little by little and make a soft dough. Cover and rest it.
2️⃣ Mash the boiled potatoes.
3️⃣ Add chopped garlic, ginger, green chilli, coriander, onion, ghee, and all spices. Mix well to prepare the filling.
4️⃣ Make medium-sized dough balls.
5️⃣ Roll two same-sized rotis.
6️⃣ Apply water on the edges of one roti, spread filling evenly in the center.
7️⃣ Place the second roti on top and press edges to seal.
8️⃣ Gently roll slightly again.
9️⃣ Heat a pan and cook from both sides with little ghee until golden brown.
