"Vinland Saga Season 2" has been one of the anime that I've been most satisfied with in a while, and the execution of Thorfinn's journey has been incredible from start to finish. The anime has delivered a ton of emotions and amazing character development, but the show for me truly peaked at Episode 9, "Oath", which marks a turning point for Thorfinn from many aspects.
The anime used for the climax of the episode "Somewhere Else" from the first season and the new soundtrack "The Oath", which masterfully reprises the theme from "The Real Warrior", one of my favourites works from Yutaka Yamada. The combination of these two tracks is a powerful delivery of music and emotions, definitely appropriate for the impact of the scene in the overall story and a true highlist from the entire anime so far.
