Earlier this year I flew to Singapore Changi airport onboard Singapore Airlines A380. Despite the long flight time of over 13 hours, it was quite comfortable considering I was flying economy. The interior just like on all other of the airlines A380 fleet have been modernised over the past few years giving it quite a modern feel. Check-In & Security at Heathrow were quick. Boarding was also done in an orderly fashion which is done by groups and also back to front in economy class. At the seat was a really comfortable pillow and a blanket. Cleanliness was alright though some areas could have been improved. Meal service was quite good but there was no side salad or fruit which was quite surprising considering the high reputation of the airline when it comes to catering. A plus was the metal cutlery, the warm bread roll and being able to see the menu in advance. I would have also preferred the 2nd meal to be later in the flight (there was still roughly 4 hours to go until landing). There was also no drink or snack service after the 2nd meal service, instead one could get something in the Galley. Overall I would rate my flight a 8/10.
