So, a new project. This time, I received a beginner's model as a gift, probably assembled by a child. It was probably abandoned and eventually thrown into a box. At first, I wanted to just restore it a little, add some elements, but after inspecting it, I realised that I would have to completely rebuild it, as it was constructed using CA glue, which made it very fragile and held together mostly by paint.

📖 History of model: Felucca are small wooden boats with a large lateen sail. They are light and manoeuvrable boats that can carry up to 10 passengers and a crew of two or three. Feluccas still sail the Red Sea, the eastern Mediterranean and the Nile in Egypt. Greek pirates preferred these vessels for their speed and manoeuvrability.
The prototype for this model was a boat built in the second half of the 19th century. Feluccas first appeared in the Mediterranean Sea and were used by Italian fishermen in San Francisco Bay.
Distinctive features: raised deck, pointed bow and sailing rigging, like on a galley. Sometimes feluccas were found on large ships and used as messenger vessels.
