Refurb Magic: Save Money on Networking, Spend Wisely on Firewalls

I’d love all our customers to consider refurbished switches and routers where it makes sense. And here’s the honest truth:

People don’t buy refurbished network gear to save the planet .. they buy it because it saves serious money. The eco-benefit is just a very nice bonus.

So the common-sense approach?

Use refurbished networking gear wherever it makes financial sense, and then take the money you saved and invest heavily in your security stack ... especially firewalls.

Now, if your firewall is End of Life, yes, we’ll happily refurbish it for you… but I’d much rather you buy your switches and routers refurbished, and keep the firewall budget fresh and current.

Of course, there are plenty of setups where a firewall isn’t even being used as a firewall anymore (happens more often than you'd think!), but if you are buying refurbished firewalls, please ..only do it when they’re still supported with manufacturer updates. Your future self will thank you.
