Описание: July 23, 2024 -- I made a brief stop in Kansas City to explore City Market, Union Station and the Money Museum. City Market is the region’s largest farmers market and is located in the heart of the historic River Market neighborhood. From the market, I took the free KC Streetcar to Union Station, a grand, historic train station with permanent & temporary exhibits, a planetarium & a science center. I then walked to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Money Museum to view the historic Harry S. Truman coin collection, enjoy interactive exhibits about the U.S. economy and to life a real gold bar. The best part was being able to view into the working area and vault to see where they process millions of dollars in currency each day. Unfortunately, photography and video isn't allowed in that area of the museum.
