A quick explanation of every drop in this run.


0:00 Manual Jump into Well (or what I like to call a manual Leap of Faith)
Wells do not only eliminate fall damage regardless of the height but are also one of the only places in the game where Ezio can perform a contextual vault so keep an eye out for those for a quick and stylish descent.

0:18 Wall Hug Drop
One of many parkour down mechanics discovered by Execution Producer. When a wall is close to an edge, press high profile and forward to 'hug the wall'. As soon as you aim your movement inputs to the side Ezio will drop down regardless of the height. Here's EP's tutorial    • [ACRev] Parkour Down 7 - Wall-Hug Drop  

0:32 High Profile + Empty Hand (b/circle)
Nothing overly complicated but needs to be angled correctly in certain places. This method only works on small objects.

0:36 Beam Drop

0:44 High Profile Drop from a NSO
When Ezio lands on a non-standable-object (NSO) after a lamp swing he will stand upright for a few moments. This means that with the right timing and correct angle it is possible to parkour down with a standard high profile drop.

0:55 Contextual Leap of Faith (Side eject)
When Ezio is close enough to a haystack he can perform a Leap of Faith by either side or back ejecting.

1:11 Horse Tackle (High Profile + Empty Hand)
Whenever you try to air tackle someone and a horse is in range, the horse will ALWAYS be prioritised. This makes horse drops one of the fastest, safest and most reliable parkour down mechanics.

1:26 Technical Parkour Down
Classic AC doesn't have a dedicated parkour down button like the Kenway Saga or Unity/Syndicate but by combining different mechanics like running off ledges in high profile to get into a hang position and using ejects + catch ledge you can still descend efficiently.

1:33 Punch drop
Whenever Ezio performs an action that causes him to move forward (like pressing armed hand to attack) he will drop down regardless of the height. This works consistently with pretty much all weapons besides the hidden gun and poison dart.

1:38 Manual Jump into High Profile Drop from NSO
After a manual jump Ezio is able to stand upright on a NSO for a few moments which means that it's possible to drop down using only high profile and movement inputs.
