After venturing to 高島縱走 last time (Video here:    • 帶著新帳篷，來場高島縱走的愜意風景攝影之旅 | 尋光入林  , I felt more confident packing all my photography and hiking gear into my backpack for a two-day trek. I decided to push myself for the next venture, where I planned to camp for a night and do my favorite photography stuff!

This time, my goal was the ROMA Trekking route—the trail between 羅武佐野郡山 and 羅葉尾山. (Though, to be honest, I only made it to RO… not MA haha…). I planned to camp on the grassland at 羅武佐野郡山, which was affected by a wildfire in 2020. Walking across this vast alpine grassland, I could still see traces of past wildfires etched into the land and trees. As I framed each shot, I couldn’t help but respect nature’s ability to evolve and endure.

In the afternoon, after settling up my camp, I started scouting the area for interesting subjects, but an unexpected sea of clouds and a sudden rainbow turned the entire afternoon into a mesmerizing spectacle. Winding down, I stared at my photos I had captured after a long day on the trail. The only company I had was 南湖大山, glowing fiery red before my eyes. I thought—what a quiet moment to enjoy.

That night, I lay under the crystal-clear sky, gazing up at the stars before drifting off to sleep, excited for the sunrise. But to my surprise, when I unzipped my tent in the morning, I was met with something even more breathtaking—fiery clouds lighting up the sky at dawn…
